lol. i feel like i'm talking to myself on here!
anyways... i kept track of readers for the last chap and it got 172 hits! holy cow- we have that many readers? wow! anyways- i just thought i'd tell you guys that, in case you weren't keeping track. when matt posted tonight the count was approx. 3305 let's see if that 172 was just a fluke.

hello fellow writers!
just wanted to let you know, my chapter is going to be a little late. work has been CRAZY this week and my 'muse' time has been sadly limited. those two things put together = little to no creative thinking- boo! hope to get those juices flowing again over the weekend. hope you all have a happy halloween!

firstly: ^^ no keren, you are not alone- i manage to get my own mind into the gutter all the time. ;) (as if you all don't know that already!)

secondly: a note to my fellow authors... so far the last chap has had 120 hits. :o one hundred twenty! and only four comments (and two of those are from each other!) i know ffwc has been slow recently but... really? really!? >:( is everybody else as frustrated as i am? anyone have ideas on how we can coax more comments out of our readers? should we post a 'we're not writing anything else 'till you all come out of hiding!' note? :-X threaten a boycott? :-/ sit at our computers and pout? :'(

* if you are taking the time to read this discussion thread (and are not a writer of this fic) you must be interested in the story and/or the writers so PLEASE take a moment to sign in/register and leave us a note. for the love of all things josh- we need your feedback- it is our fuel! thank you profusely in advance :)

Well I really don't want to be having to boycott or something like that but I totally understand the feeling when you see that there are TONS of hits and only 2 comments...but begging isn't effective 100% of the time, and it's kind of annoying- having to ask for comments when they kind of go hand-in-hand with reading a chapter in the first place. I know I always feel bad if I don't comment. *shrug*

I'm with both of you Taylor and Keren, I think there must be something we can do, but I i also think that the begging thing isn't working. What could we do to fix our little problem? I mean we can't force people to leave a comment. I think one thing all of us TRLT writers should do is make the effort to comment on everyone's chapter. There are 6 writers (right?) so every chapter should have at the very least 5 comments. If we don't care for and support our own story why should others?
