Life in Pine Grove:
Prologue:
After getting married Tessa and Gracie along with their husbands move to Pine Grove. Both girls of course grew up in Los Angeles but went to live in this town for peace and tranquility. Little did Anthony know who the girls grew up with?
Chapter One:
It was a cool crisp day in the small town of Pine Grove Washington. Best friends and neighbors Tessa Salerno and Gracie Moore both 23 years old were having a pic nic in Tessa’s backyard as they drank in the sunshine. They planned on going apple picking in the orchard behind the Salerno’s farm. As they continued chattering about their lives as married women who should show up but Anthony, Tessa’s husband with some startling news for the girls.
“Did you all hear about how Josh Groban is coming to visit our quaint little town?” Anthony said rather excited.
“Yeah baby Josh, Gracie, and I had classes together in high school growing up in Los Angeles.” “And Josh was my best friend since elementary school in Manzanita day school.” Tessa said.
“Wow so this is what you have been hiding from me since you moved here.” “And I can see why so many people may want to abuse you girl’s friendship in order to gain access to him.” Tony said as he understood.
This was going to be a wonderful adventure and yet they knew that they had to keep it a secret from gossiping ears. Only a few select people of the town that were involved in the civic and political end knew and his close friends such as these three. So they began to get ready for his arrival and how they would keep him well hidden before the concert.

Chapter Two:
They started to pick apples in the orchard when the girls noticed a familiar tall masculine figure with dark shades and a beanie over his head approaching them. They knew that it was none other than Josh coming up the lane.
“Hey girls it’s great to be with my best friends again. “” I am also glad to be far away from the city for awhile.” Josh said as they all embraced each other.
Soon enough who should come by but their neighbors Sabrina and Julie two of the worst gossips in town. The girls told Josh to keep quiet and just act casual. Since they knew that these girls would let the cat out of the bag the moment they knew the truth.
They also saw Kaleigh, Sarah, and Jenna coming up the field just in time to help with the damage prevention. They didn’t care much for these two women either, if you could call them women.
“Hello ladies, we saw Sabrina and Julie coming up the field and we wanted to help with keeping Josh a secret.” Kaleigh said seeing as they had met Josh in concert up in Boise a while back.
“Thank you so much girls for helping us out.” “We really appreciate what you are doing for us.” Josh said as he gave them all hugs.
Soon enough Sabs and Julie approached the group and began after the exchange of greetings and introductions to Josh; they looked him and decided to leave still not convinced that the girls had a rather strong story. They still were very suspicious as to why they were not telling them much about Josh and why he came to visit them. This was going to prove to be an interesting week.
That evening:
Anthony entered the house with a load of groceries from Dave the grocer in town. He entered to find Josh seated in between Gracie and his wife chatting away about old times. He began to get jealous now that he knew that his wife was best friends with a well known singer, and he was just a humble town musician who worked at the church, as well as one of the produce farmers for their county. He started to doubt about their marriage and whether or not having this “friend” here was such a good idea.
“Hey sweetheart, I see that you brought home the groceries for the fettuccine Alfredo, calamari, and veal Marsala and the grilled peaches with mascarpone cheese and white wine.” Tessa continued as she helped him bring the things into the kitchen.
“You know what sweetheart; I want an annulment from our marriage.” “I don’t really know anymore if you married me for love.” Anthony said.
“Honey is this because of the fact that Josh is a world famous singer.” “You think that I’m regretting moving here and having the nice peaceful life that we share in this farm house.” she continued.
“I just don’t want to lose you to him.” “You are the first woman that has been my best friend first and now my wife.” He said as they kissed.
“Don’t worry baby, my love for Josh is like a younger sister loving her older brother.” “It goes nowhere beyond that I assure you, in fact I want to set him up with Kaleigh.” Tessa concluded.
So they continued to prepare dinner and talk about the plans for that week’s activities. How they would show Josh what life in a small town was like. This was going to be a wonderful change from the busy atmosphere of LA.
Chapter Three:
The next morning Anthony found Josh seated at the kitchen table pouring over the newspaper while drinking a cup of coffee.
‘Morning Josh, I was wondering if you would like to come with me to the hen house and grab some eggs for breakfast.” Anthony said as he led the way.
They entered the barn where Anthony brought him towards the hen house. Josh was the first to reach under the chickens for some nice eggs with brown shells.
“So how long exactly have you and my wife been best friends?” he asked Josh
“Well every since the fourth grade when she was the new girl in Mrs. Stewart’s class.” “She was getting picked on a whole lot even till we hit the 10th grade. “Anyway I told the girls to back off since she was new and it would get them in trouble if they kept on throwing sand at her.” Josh said
“Don’t’ worry Anthony I wouldn’t dream of taking your wife away from you like that.” “I do love her yes but she is like a sister to me, the one that I never had.” “Plus you’re a musician as well and she loves the beautiful music that you make together, whether it’s in church or in life. “ Josh finished.
“I can’t believe this you still didn’t trust my word baby.” “I heard the whole conversation, and it really saddens me that you still have doubts about us.” Tessa said as she went over to him.
“Do you really believe in your heart that I’m going to leave the one man in my life that has made me happier than any man I have ever been with?” “And as he said it would be beneath him to steal someone’s women.” “Especially since he wants to become one of your best friends as well since he has heard me talk so much about you and the man that has swept me off my feet.” Tessa continued.
“Come on boys lets head into the house so I can make breakfast.” “How does French toast scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage sound.” she said as they entered the house.
They settled inside the house and began to prepare the breakfast. Josh had already spent time making the coffee. As soon as they sat down and said Grace for the food the telephone rang.
“Good morning Salerno residence, who may I ask is calling?” Tessa said
“Hey Tessa how are you its David, could you please get Josh on the line.” he said
‘Josh its David Foster he is on the phone for you.” she said as he handed him the receiver.
It turned out that Josh didn’t have a duet partner for that evening’s concert and David asked him to choose who he wanted to sing with him. He asked Tessa to share the stage with him since he couldn’t think of singing with anyone else. Tessa was very excited and so was Anthony since he was asked to conduct the orchestra for the evening. This was a wonderful way to start the day.

Chapter Four:
The three set the table and got ready for lunch as Gracie, Jenna, Kate, and Lissa came to join them. Little did Kaleigh know, the others were going to leave her and Josh alone. Kaleigh had just turned 20 and had been in love with Josh since before any of them graduated high school? And Josh fell in love with her at the Christmas gathering over at his parents place 2 years ago. Tessa and Gracie, both knowing this pulled Josh aside the night before and found out that he still was interested in her. So after a wonderful lunch the others left Kaleigh and Josh to themselves.
“Hey Kaleigh, I was wondering if you would do the honor of being my girlfriend?” Josh asked as he felt the tension leave him.
“Of course I will Josh, you have no clue about how much I really do love you.” She replied.
So after all was said and done Josh coaxed Tessa to the piano and she began to play the introduction to “When You Say You Love Me” and he and Tessa broke into “The Prayer” and “There for Me”

As soon as they were done with their mini concert they packed up the ice chest with colas, juices, and waters as they proceeded to the boat that the Salerno’s owned. The group was ready for a day out in the river and a nice night in the house boat. This was the beginning of new love, laughter, and excitement for the up coming concert at the Pine Grove Civic Hall.
Chapter Five:
It seemed as though certain things weren’t falling into place the next day. The back up speakers blew out and Eric Holden who played bass guitar suddenly contracted a stomach virus. Josh and David with the rest of the team didn’t know what to do since they didn’t know of any other bass player in town.
“Um Josh, Anthony and I play the bass guitar so we can take turns.” “On each song we can both switch, like when I am singing with you.” Tessa said.
“That sounds like a wonderful idea girl.” “I knew that there was a reason as to why we were such good friends.” Josh said.
Anthony, Josh and Tessa headed towards the stage for sound check and so that they could rehearse with Tessa and Anthony taking turns on the bass. When everything was going smoothly the three went towards the dressing rooms to get made up and to slip on their first set of clothes that night.
“You look so beautiful baby, just like when we first met. “Anthony said as he twirled Tessa around and kissed her gently.
“Yeah you have turned out so great since the last time we got together. “Josh said.
“Hey baby I just wanted to wish you good luck tonight.” Kaleigh said as she gave Josh a kiss and the other two hugs.
Soon enough the stage manager was calling Josh to start the concert. You could hear the deafening screams of the Grobanites as they waited for their idol to step on stage.
“Good evening Pine Grove, it is so wonderful to have the privilege of performing here for all of you.” “So without much further ado here is “Oceano”. Josh said as he began the first set of songs starting with Oceano and ending with Alla Luce del sol.”
Then the intermission came and Josh went over to Tessa to talk to her before they went on stage. They embraced for a bit and it seemed as if Tessa was calming Josh down more than vice versa.
“They love you already and it was just the first set of songs Josh.” She said to him.
‘I know it’s just that as usual I am having the classic stage fright that you know about.” “But I know that I will do great tonight especially in this set that we are about to do together.” Josh said.
Soon enough it was time for the second set and Lucia had finished her Nocturne for the intermission. Josh stepped back on the stage to welcome Tessa.
“Everyone I would like to introduce a special guest and my best friend onto the stage her name is Tessa Salerno and she is going to sing with me tonight.” Josh said
“In this second set we are going to sing some favorite show tunes and some of your favorite duets that I do starting with “For Always” and ending the evening with “Somewhere”.

This was the best night that the people of Pine Grove had experienced in a long time. The concert ended and they headed to the reception that was thrown in Joshes honor, then at last they headed home. Little did Anthony, Gracie, and Tessa know, Josh was going to ask them to travel with him the entire summer tour?

Chapter Six:
So the quartet arrived home tired and full of the satisfaction of knowing that the concert went well that night. Soon enough as they all sat down together, they found out that Anthony and Tessa had some news.
“Josh, Anthony and I are planning on having a church wedding ceremony in 2 weeks.” Tessa said
“Yeah and we were wondering if you would do us the honor of singing at our wedding?” Anthony asked Josh
“Well I certainly would love to help you have the wedding you didn’t have.” “I know that you are legally married since you went to the county courthouse in Seattle, and I know that Tessa especially wants to wear the dress and the veil and feel like a bride.” “I am honored that you thought of me for as the singer for this special occasion.” Josh concluded.
The ceremony was to be small and intimate, meaning that since this was a small town the townspeople would be in attendance, and Rev. Andrews of the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church where the couple attended would be officiating alongside Tessa’s long time friend Craig Davis from Newsong Church. The friends were so excited to help plan this occasion. They were so glad that Tessa had chosen to get married at Puddingstone Hot Springs in San Dimas California. All of the guests would be driving to get there.
The Next Morning:
The group boarded the tour bus to head out towards Los Angeles California where the ceremony would take place. This was going to be a great time to meet with the group from LACHSA. They knew that they would have a great time since they were going to show Anthony the sites of LA. And yet Tessa knew that he was even shyer than Josh when it came to meeting new people. They concluded their trip with setting ground at the Groban’s residence.
“Welcome to Los Angeles Anthony, and welcome to the Groban’s residence which we call the “big house”. “ You are going to love it here, and wow here is Chris Groban coming down to meet us.” Gracie said
“Hey little bro, you look more than just excited to see us today.” Tessa said as he gave her and Gracie a hug.
“It’s great to see you guys and to meet Anthony for the first time.” Chris said as he extended his hand.
Anthony shyly returned the shake and headed into the house along with the others, with one thought on his mind what on earth was he doing here. He felt so inadequate since was just a simple farmer from the small town of Pine Grove. This was going to be an interesting adjusting period for him and the rest of the group.
Chapter Seven:
“Hey beautiful, it’s great that you are having the wedding here in San Dimas.” “I feel honored to be a co officiator at your wedding celebration.” Craig said as they embraced
“And it’s great that you want to have “Common Chord” our band play for the ceremony.” Paul and Michelle said.
The gang went through some of their original songs, and some of Joshe’s songs. Each band member knew that Tessa had a surprised planned for Anthony. So the other guys took him for a guy’s night out before the big day. And the rest the females and Josh helped Tessa with the melody to her surprise song.
In the Eyes of Love

And once again I look at this moment and see that all this was in the eyes of love.
“That is such a beautiful song Tessa; I am so glad that we are back together to jam.” “It really has been a while since we have sang together.” Beth finished.
So they began to pack up the instruments so that they could get some dinner with the rest of the group at Il Fornaio in Pasadena, which was co owned by Beth and Tessa along with the rest of the Common Chord. This was going to be a long, busy but wonderful weekend.
The Next Day at the church:
“Hey sweetie, you look so beautiful.” Josh exclaimed as he locked Tessa in a big bear hug.
“Thanks Josh and you don’t look bad yourself.” Tessa said as she met the rest of the entourage in the main church hall way.
This was really it Tessa was in the dress of her dreams, a white spaghetti strapped number with an empire skirt and a fitted waste area. The straps had diamonds and the veil was fastened with a crown. Her hair was in natural ringlets and her make up had her sparkling like the sun.
Michelle began to play the background music as the guests entered. Soon it was time and she along with the orchestra began Pachelbel’s Cannon in D as first Mike and Mindy, then Craig and Carey, Paul and Beth since Michelle was at the piano, and finally Josh and Kaleigh.
“Shall the congregation please rise.” Craig said as they rose from their seats.
Mindy being the matron of honor marched first, and then with shaking feet Tessa being lead by her dad marched to the altar. She reached her beloved Anthony with a smile on her face, and then the ceremony began.
“Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of this man and this woman in holy matrimony.” “This is a noble estate instituted by God to join to souls together as one.” Rev. Andrews continued.
“It is with great joy that we join these two people in thanksgiving for the many blessings that God has bestowed upon their lives together.” Craig continued.
“Now it is times for the vows, and I believe that Tessa is to go first, with a special musical number for Anthony.” Rev. Andrews said.
“This song is dedicated to my heart and soul Anthony, for being one of my best friends first and foremost, and now my life partner.” Tessa said

Then it was time for the vows, which Craig led.
“Do you Anthony Edward Salerno take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, in sickness and in health for as long as you both shall live?” He said
“I do” Anthony said as he gazed into her eyes
“And do you Tessa Marie Smith take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold in sickness and in health, for as long as you both shall live.” Rev. Andrews said once again.
“I do” Tessa said.
“Then by the power vested in us by God’s church and the state of California we pronounce you man and wife.” “You may kiss the bride Anthony.” They concluded.
They kissed with so much passion and love that it filled the entire place.
“Ladies and gentlemen we present to you for the first time Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Salerno.” They said.
The recessional began and they went towards the other end of the garden for the wedding reception.

Chapter Eight:
At the reception it was nice to have their friend Justin Clark as the disc jockey. He was a long time friend of Tessa and Josh since they started going to the college study at Newsong Church.
“I know that this sounds unorthodox but I would like to ask Tessa to come up front and sing “For Always and “The Prayer” with me.” “I am saying that this is unconventional because who normally asks the bride to sing on their wedding.” Josh said as he looked at Tessa
“I will gladly do it since many guests have wondered if I would sing tonight.” “So ladies and gentlemen I would like to dedicate this song to my Anthony, my best friend, and my heart and soul.” She concluded.

“I am so speechless right now, I am very glad to be with this beautiful woman before me.” “ I was feeling a little out of place coming her since I am just a simple church musician, but you all have welcomed me into your circle of friends, and I am very grateful to you all that you have allowed me to shared the sunshine that is Tessa.” Anthony concluded.
As soon as the speeches were done it was time for the cutting of the cake and the toast. For this Josh and Wendy stood up and Wendy spoke first, “Tessa you have shown me how through waiting and praying God has granted you such a special man in your life.” “I wish you both the best of God’s blessings upon your marriage and may his grace and peace be everlasting in your lives together.
“I just want to add to what Beth said, by saying that I would not pick a better man to take care of Tessa.” “I love her like a sister and she has given me so much encouragement through out my career.” “I hope that when the time comes for me to get married that I find someone as special as you have Tessa.” Josh finished as he embraced her
“Now as the moon hangs high over our heads, it is time for the cutting of the cake and the first dance.” Lissa another great friend of Tiffany’s and the rest of the California group said.
Tessa and Anthony approached the cake and as they cut a slice they heard Beth and Chris another friend say “Let her have it, Tony.” Chris said
“Shut up Neal before I slam it into your face.” Anthony said as he fed it to Tessa.
Then it was Tessa’s turn to feed Tony his piece of cake in which she heard Beth say “Let him have it Tessa, you know you want to.”
Tessa took her piece of cake and pretended to aim it at Tony, but instead lunged for Beth and got it all over her face, then fed some to Anthony. Chris walked over to Beth and wiped her face with a napkin.
“Now ladies and gentlemen it is time for their first dance.” Craig said as the intro to “When You Say You Love Me” began

And that was the end of the formalities of the evening and the couple and the guest danced and partied till the early morning hours.
Chapter Nine:
Arriving in Pine Grove:
“Wow guys what a weekend we had, too bad I am returning to Bryan’s mother yapping about wanting a grand child now.” “And my sister in law flaunting the fact that she has an easy time keeping a baby and I don’t since my family has a history of miscarriages.” Gracie said with a sigh.
“Don’t worry about it sweetheart, my mom is just uneducated past high school.” “She is the typical traditional Italian or even old fashion woman who believes that women should stay in the home, and that they should focus on getting a Missus degree instead of a PHD.” Bryan said.
“Have you ever attempted to share with her that it’s the 21st century and women have equal opportunities as men.” Tessa said as she leaned against Anthony.
“I know I guess that she will just have to be shown that it takes time to start a family.”Gracie said
It was really stressing the Moore’s out that this particular woman in their lives had decided to make an enemy of Gracie due to her not wanting to stay in the home. The friends just sat around and ordered a few pizzas and waited for the next day to come.
The next morning:
“Good morning sweetie, did you all sleep well?” Josh asked as Tessa staggered into the kitchen and aimed for the coffee pot. Kaleigh tailed after her wanting the same thing.
“Hey baby, since when did you drink coffee?” Josh asked Kaleigh as they sat together.
“Since I started hanging out more with coffee junky over there.” She said as she pointed at Tessa.
“Oh well that just means welcome to the world of the caffeine addicted.” Anthony said as he made himself an espresso con panna.
They began to do their daily tasks of milking the cows, getting eggs from the chickens, and harvesting fruits and veggies for the farmers market that took place every weekend.
”Good morning Mrs. Salerno, I’m here to help you and Mr. Salerno with the produce stand and the grill at the market today.” Seth said.
“That would be wonderful Seth, thank you so much for your help.” “And please call us Tessa and Anthony or we will think of our parents.” Tessa said.
“Ok and it was great to have Josh Groban in town.” “I really am a fan and I enjoyed watching you all perform with him.” “Honestly I came to ask if you would be my point of reference for the Los Angeles County High School of the Arts since you attended there.” Seth concluded.
“Sure I would love to do that once we get back in the classroom in the fall.” Tessa said as she was loading the produce into the trunk of the car.
Little did the Salerno’s know, but Seth was using them as a point of entry into the world of Josh. He was not only a fan but he wanted to be as close to him as possible. He wanted Josh for himself, even if it meant hurting people he knew along the way. This was going to be another adventure for the friends.
Chapter Ten:

They arrived at the Pine Grove Fall Harvest Festival, and began to set up the merchandise. Soon enough they met up with Gracie who had brought some baked goods to sell since she and Tessa had a great love for cooking.
“Hey sweetie it looks as though you followed my lead with the brownies.” Gracie said as she saw two jugs of homemade vanilla ice cream come off the trucks.
“Hello girls it’s great to see that you are here with your goods today.” Mayor Watson said.
“Good morning mayor, would you like a brownie and some ice cream?” Tessa asked him.
“Why thank you girls, yes and I will gladly pay for it.” “I want the proceeds to go towards that musical academy that you want to build.” He said looking at Tessa.
The girls chatted a bit with the mayor until he had to leave for a council meeting. What the town’s people didn’t know was that Josh would be the grand marshal of this year’s parade, as well as perform “You Raise Me Up” with the Pine Grove Community College Choir under Anthony’s direction. Only Seth and the choir along with the friends knew that he was going to be coming back.
“I still can’t believe that we are going to sing with Josh Groban, especially for this parade.” Seth said as he went with Tessa into the big rehearsal tent.
They ran through vocal exercises and other final touches before they went on to join the others in the dressing room to get prepped for the parade.
The Parade:
“Welcome to the 56th annual Pine Grove Harvest Parade, I’m your host Donna Lee Miller.” “And this year’s grand marshal is Warner Reprise recording artist Josh Groban; we welcome you to our town once again.” She continued.
“Thank you very much and hello Pine Grove.” “It is indeed an honor to be with you once again and I want to thank Anthony and Tessa Salerno, Gracie Moore and Mayor Watson for giving me this honor.” Josh said
“Now I understand that you are a great inspiration in the lives of Tessa and Gracie?” Donna continued.
“Well the three of us did grow up together in Los Angeles, but I would say that they are the ones that inspired me to push forward with this music career.” “Since as an individual I am not known for taking risks and just going on impulse so I thank them for their support.” Josh concluded.
Soon enough it was show time and Josh along with the choir got on the Pine Grove College float and began their number. The rendition of “You Raise Me Up” was a huge hit, and the parade a success.
“Hey girls you mind if I steal a brownie with some ice cream?” Josh asked Gracie and Tessa
“Sure since you won’t be doing any other singing tonight, unless in the privacy of the house.” Tessa said handing him the dessert and some coffee.
“This is great dessert you guys, and I like the fact that everything is homemade except maybe the coffee.” Josh said.
“You were great Mr. Groban thanks for being a part of our parade.” Seth said as he eyed him.
“Thank you Seth, and remember please just call me Josh none of the formalities please.” he said with a smile.
Little did Josh know but Seth was very much infatuated with him and would stop at nothing to make Josh his. Then again Seth was a very spoiled young man as his parents met his demands and he really knew nothing about real love. All he really wanted was to make sure that no one else had him. Time would only tell how far he would go until the friends caught on.
Chapter Eleven:
That evening at the farmhouse Josh and Tessa were having a good time doing some of his songs on the piano.

“This was fun and relaxing guys, but if we are going to start this winter tour tomorrow we need our rest.” Anthony said
“Well how bout Josh, Anthony, and I do the dishes, then we can curl up with our favorite move “The Goonies” and camp out here in the living room with pillows blankets, and sleeping bags.” Tiffany said.
So they quickly packed the gear, and instruments, as well as the clothes they would need for this trip and then they got comfy and settled for a long movie night.
As they continued on into the middle of the movie they heard a loud crash in the den. So the men went on to see what was happening and found Seth in the den with a rifle in his hand.
“I love you Josh, and I am going to go through great lengths for you to be mine.” Seth said as he aimed the gun at Anthony and Tessa
“So this explains the strange look you gave me at the carnival.” “I don’t appreciate being demanded by someone to love them.” Josh said
“You don’t understand I know that you are the one that can get me out of this dump of a small town and into the big city.” “So I suggest that you come with me and maybe pull a few strings for me to get into the business.” Seth said.
“I’m afraid that with the demands that you have set forth I will not do such a thing.” “I could however get you out of this town and into LACHSA the right way.” Josh said
“You have a wonderful voice Seth and I would be happy to duet with you so that you can send in a demo to Miss Sun the vocal performance teacher.” “And you don’t need to result to violence to gain what you want.” Tessa concluded.
So with that Seth put the gun down and sat down on the couch. The gang decided to not press charges since knowing his abusive background they wanted to give him the chance to follow his passion for music.
“How bout we you give us a rendition of “Nessun Dorma” and we can do “Canto Alla Vita” together.

So Josh set up the necessary equipment and called David Romano his vocal coach to help him record the demo.
“Now Seth don’t be nervous and just be yourself.” “I know that you will get into the school no sweat.” Gracie said
They proceeded to record and it went off without a hitch, but before they could get the guestroom fixed for Seth who should show up but his father who came rather angry at the friends.
“My son is not going to be a performer like Mr. Opera pansy boy here.” “He is going to be a mechanic or an electrician but not a singer.” Randy said as he tried to pull his son away from them.
“I am going to follow my dreams dad no matter what you say.” “And I know that I’m adopted so if you disown me I was never yours biologically in the first place.” Seth screamed.
“Sir if you don’t leave our property we will call the authorities.” “And no one says anything so degrading as you have said to my friend.” Anthony said.
“How you going to make me leave the premises since I know that you are a tiny man and I can beat the crap out of you.” Randy said
So the friends called the police and were able to apprehend Randy and take him away telling him that a restraining order had been filed and he was not to come near him or the group. As soon as the drama was taken cared of the friends settled in for the night ready to face the tour with their new friend Seth the next day.
Chapter Twelve:
At the Los Angeles County High School of Performing Arts
“Why hello my darlings, what brings you back to LACHSA after all these years?” Miss Sun said as she had them take a seat.
“Well we would like to introduce you to this young man Seth Davidson.” “He is currently a part of the Pine Grove High School choir and is very passionate about getting into this school to further his musical education.” Josh said
“Here are some demos of him singing, I had the privilege of not only teaching him but being his duet partner for this tape.” “We hope that you consider him once you have a listen.” Tiffany said
“Now that we have all of that covered I would like to interview Seth.” “So would the three of you mind stepping out for a few minutes?” Joyce said.
The others stepped out and sat down in the waiting room praying and hoping that he would get into the school. It was nearly 40 minutes that Miss Sun took in interviewing Seth. Soon she called them back in and with a smile said “I want you all to come back tomorrow around 8 am and then I will have my answer from the principal of the school.” She finished.
So the friends headed towards the local movie theater to watch “Troy” in which Josh sang the song “Remember” that they all loved. It was interesting to note that this local movie theater was still playing this movie after it had been taken off of the list of the bigger theaters.
“Hey guys lets proceed to the house and order a pizza and have some sodas.” “Let’s head back to my place and have one of our ever faithful LACHSA pizza and movie nights.” Josh continued
So they all headed towards Joshes’ house and arrived in top speed, only to find Christopher waiting for them with some news.
Chapter 13:
“It seems that Seth’s father has found out where in Los Angeles you reside, and has decided to stop at nothing to regain full custody of his son.” “I understand that you have placed a restraining order on him he says that he is out to kill.” Chris finished as he recounted what the news bulletin mentioned.
“I can’t believe this he thinks that he can still control me when I have already stated that he ADOPTED me and therefore has no real hold on me.” “Then again I am so different that my adopted mother stated that he is scared of me in a sense.” Seth concluded.
“Anyway for the moment we are going to make sure that you are heavily guarded since I know some people in the LAPD.” “All of us in this house remember Officer Michael Lopez from LACHSA he will be more than happy to guard you.” “He owes us anyway since I helped him apprehend a shop lifter at a local Macy’s 4 days before my move to Pine Grove.” Tessa said
So they began to make a fool proof plan on how to keep Seth out of harms way. They figured that hiding him in the spare office at Newsong Church would be best considering that it was a place his Randy wouldn’t know to look. So they packed him a large duffel bag with his essentials and took him to the church.
Tiffany and Gracie POV:
We never dreamed that the one place we sought refuge and comfort would be a site for such a negative ordeal. Then again all we could do was pray that God would guide our steps as we helped protect Seth.
What the friends didn’t know was the fact that Randy had heard everything since he had been hiding in the bushes of Joshes house and the windows being opened he could follow them. The friends were in for a rather danger filled surprise.
Randy POV:
I will get him back and fag boy Groban, those meddlesome teachers, and that wimpy farmer Anthony will be made to pay. Now that I know he can sing and dance I will use him to get rich and famous, this is going to me so easy. The gang really had no clue as to how twisted this man really is.
Unbeknownst to this man Lopez and his men had stationed security cameras in and around the premises. Thanks to Tessa and Gracie being as technologically sound as they were. Davidson had no idea that he was the one in for a rather shocking surprise.
